A suit is a kind of exquisite clothing. If you want to wear a suit with a sense of luxury, you don't have to be careless about details. When men wear suits, what details do they need to clearly understand?
1. Choose right tie width
If width of tie is not chosen correctly, combination of whole suit will be very inconsistent. Generally speaking, a thin man is better off choosing a wider tie, if it is thicker, a narrower one. If you don't have time and energy to carefully choose width of your tie, you can also use simplest and roughest way: choose a tie that is about same width as your shirt lapel.
Secondly, how do you know if a suit fits?
Shoulders: The lines of shoulders should be straight, especially at junction of rotator cuffs;
Collar. Whether you are standing or on move, collar should always fit snugly around back of neck without wrinkling.
Sleeves: sleeves should be round and full, without folds;
Neck lapel: Suit collar types are divided into pistol lapel, notched lapel and shawl collar. The shawl collar is generally used less frequently and will not be described here. We usually go for notch lapels for formal occasions, but for everyday occasions, pistol lapels are more interesting.
3. Decorative value of pocket squares
Pocket handkerchiefs were first used by European nobles to clean their noses, that is, hygienic handkerchiefs. Today, this pocket square has more decorative than practical value, and has become a costume adornment.
Fourthly, the choice of shoe color
As a general rule, suits go best with brown shoes. Brown red and coffee are good choices, discreet but not boring;
Unless it's a serious event, editor usually doesn't recommend wearing black leather shoes because it's too serious.
5. About foot details
Three taboos in trousers: don't show your calves when you sit down, don't wear white socks with black leather shoes, and don't wear chemical fiber socks.
